Meet Kathleen, a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of dedicated service to the Texas Comptroller and state government. Her impactful contributions span the Legal and Auditing fields, showcasing a wealth of expertise and an unwavering commitment to public service.

Beyond her distinguished career, Kathleen actively engages in Toastmasters, currently holding the role of Area Director, Club Mentor, and the president of  her home club.

Passionate about mentorship and education, Kathleen has left a positive mark on the lives of others through her mentoring efforts in the Austin Independent School District. Now based in Houston, Texas, she continues to share her knowledge and skills through diverse channels, including blogging, poetry, and crafting.

As a newly published author, Kathleen explores the critical topic of mental health in her book, "Could it Be? This is Me?" The book combines informative insights with personal stories to illuminate the impact of mental illness on individuals.

Deeply embedded in the community, Kathleen proudly wears multiple hats at NAMI Greater Houston, contributing as a facilitator, video producer, and valued member. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her academic achievements, graduating with honors from Texas State University and earning certification as a Certified Public Manager.
